Great
Would have been nice to have dialogue on bus by tour leader about things we were seeing and going to see. AT times when we had long bus time, that would have been helpful.

Amazing experience in beautiful part of the world
A very enjoyable trip through Scandinavia. Our tour leader Lilia was very efficient and engaging, making everyone feel welcome. This was my first time on an organised tour with my 15 year old son and I was worried about being in such a large group. However it was so fast paced we never had change to worry and there were plenty of free days to balance the optional excursions. Hotels were great and food excellent. Got to see loads of amazing locations and tour guides were really good. Overall a fabulous experience, although I was glad we cut it short at Helsinki as pace and travel pretty demanding.

Amazing & wonderful experience as first timer w/ expat explo

ExPat does a remarkable job of creating the most enjoyable experience possible. It chooses the best locations to visit in each country. Traveling on my own, I'd never know where to go or how to get there. ExPat takes care of all the logistics in a nice balance of guided tours and free time to explore on my own. The scheduling for local guides, busses, and ships is precise thus maximizing the greatest use of time. Accommodations varied depending on the location. All were very good and offered a full buffet breakfast to begin the day. Lunches were not covered since we were generally on the road. There were multiple venues to choose from in various price ranges. None were too expensive. Some evenings were on our own also allowing us to experiment with new dishes. Local guides gave city tours and were always right on time with a vast knowledge of the topic. Beforehand, I was somewhat dubious about taking a bus tour with 38-40 other people but discovered how much fun it is. I met visito

I have been on an expat tour before so I had really high expectations. I was not disappointed. Our tour leader Darius and our driver Paulo were a dream team. I cannot say enough good things about them both. They handled the few hiccups we had with grace and were just amazing.

We traveled via coach, ferry, cruise ship, and public transportation to some amazing historical sites and enjoyed local food, drink, and culture. Scandinavia and Finland were stunning. The weather was very wet at times, but that is not unusual for the region. We loved our tour guide, Luke and our coach driver, Brian. They and the other passengers we traveled with were so fun! We met lifelong friends on our first Expat Tour and will recommend this experience to others.
Nez

Our tour guide Luke and coach driver Brian bonded well even though they hadn't met before and this provided a great atmosphere for the rest of us on the tour to get to know one another. Luke was very engaging relating to all from young to old and presenting each part of the trip with positivity and enthusiasm. The scenery in many places was breathtaking and it was great to be able to visit 4 countries without the stress of having to arrange it ourselves. The local guides provided valuable insights into the life and history of each country.
Frances

This is a fantastic tour which helps you fully discover many of Scandinavia's capitals, landscapes, and fully integrated with what the locals do regarding food, culture, and public transport in major cities. Our tour guide Inga and our driver Lukas were both fabulous and looked after us well. The coach was well maintained, comfortable and cleaned extremely well. All hotels were pleasant to stay in. I would strongly recommend this tour to visit Scandinavian countries instead of cruising to everyone!!!

I had the best time of my life during those 12 days. My first trip to Europe and my first ever solo trip. I had an amazing experience. Great people, wonderful sceneries and delicious foods. They showed me reasons why it was a best decision to travelled first to Scandinavia than other european countries. I love it! Thank you expatexplore!

Even though there was a lot of driving on this tour, I knew that before I chose it. The scenery was truly amazing. Great group on the bus and everyone kept to the schedule. Our tour leader was very knowledgeable and the local guides also knowledgeable and engaging.

Andreea, our tour leader, and Bjorn, our coach driver, were fabulous! There was so much to see and do and Andreea made it all possible and Bjorn got us there safely. Andreea was so knowledgeable about the sites - she showed us hidden jewels we would never have found on our own. She even had a medical emergency that she had to address with minimal disruption to the tour! No senerio was too much for her excellent skill set! The scenery in Norway was breathtaking! Hospitality everywhere was gracious and charming. If there weren't so many other spaces to see with our ExPat family, we'd to this tour again with Andreea and Bjorn. This was our 5th ExPat tour and we signed up for four more during this year's promo!

it was my first tour after working overseas for 11 years and it was worth the wait😊

the scandinavian escape brought me to the countries that are on top of the happiness index . i never ceased to be amazed by the wonders of the natural landscapes, breathe the most crisp air and most especially enthralled by the fjords of Norway..with the many glistening blue lakes. Perfect! Now more than I ever i see the need to advocate for an ecologically friendly lifestyle so that the pristine beauty of nature is preserved for many generations of travellers to marvel at!

It was a pleasure to have been able to travel on the first ever Scandinavian Escape by expat explore. From start to finish the trip was comfortable, smooth and thoroughly enjoyable. Our Tour leader Tim was so knowledgeable and informative and it's very obvious he loves his job. He made the trip very enjoyable for us all and worked very well in a team with our coach driver Bjorn who was so lovely to us. For me, the highlights of this trip were getting to see the fjords of Norway, visiting the Northern tip of Denmark and as always getting to meet so many new people from all parts of the world. Copenhagen, Bergen and Stockholm were my favourite cities. The accommodation provided on the trip was wonderful and the food that was provided for us was plentiful and tasty. My tip for all expat explorers is to get out and see as much of the area's you are in while you are there & make the most of the free time you have. The only negative I would have is that there were one or two long days of tra
