Wonderful Tour with Excellent Tour Leader
This tour is a great introduction to Italy, just as its title says: A TASTE OF ITALY. Our tour leader, Alessandro, was informative regarding all the sights we visited. He was well-organized and consistently accommodated the needs and requests of the group members. We enjoyed the tour accommodations and the included meals. Our driver, Angelo, also assisted us greatly. We attended all of the optional excursions and they were very enjoyable.
Dee
Great experience
Loved all of the places we went. Beautiful sites!
Ilse
Wonderful experience!
We enjoyed the tour very much. Although very fast-paced we saw a lot. The only downside was the extreme heat that had an effect on us. Our tourleader, Steph, was excellent and Angelo, the bus driver, was very skillful. I think Italy is just awesome and beautiful.
Alora

Our family really enjoyed this tour! It is fast paced, and a lot of steps so be prepared for that. But it is a great way to see a lot of places in a short period of time. We felt the time allotted in most destinations was enough. I would highly recommend this tour for people who want to see a lot of places in just a week.

Taste of Italy tour is exactly what it is a taste, you will definitely be back and do another Italian tour because you will fall in love with this beautiful country! It was my first tour ever and I had no expectations, however I was blown away by the care and information we were given by Moona and our driver Mauricio throughout our tour. I highly recommend it and be prepared to do lots of steps! Ensure you do the additional excursions and take the opportunity of every stops and visit the duomos, they were the highlights! I will be back to do the south Italy part of the tour.
Liz

It was a great tour. For some of the people on the tour, the walking up hills was a bit to much.

Noddy, our tour leader was great. She kept everyone together and she was very friendly. Hotels were good.

THE GUIDE: Count yourselves among blessed if you have Noddy. She was energetic, fun, competent, so very organized, friendly, and went out of her way to get to know each of us personally. Her knowledge of each region we traveled through and monument we visited blew my mind. She was an absolutely bottomless font of knowledge and was only too happy to share whatever she could that would help us along the way. She quickly became a friend, and we were genuinely sad to say goodbye. THE FOOD: It's Italy! We did not have a bad experience at any meal; my goodness can these people cook. Hotels provide breakfast each morning ranging from a full, hot meal to croissants and coffee depending on the hotel. Included meals were also delish and a great way to get to know your tour fam. Do yourself a favor and book the dinner experience in Tuscany; it was the best meal/experience of the trip! THE TOUR: There is a LOT of walking (we put in about 6-8 miles a day). It's intense and so is the itinerary. W

This tour was everything I imagined and then some! We stayed busy, never bored, and got to see so many things. Noddy was an amazing tour guide, knowledgeable, kind, and understanding. Our driver Franco was also amazing & got us everywhere efficiently and safely.

Me and my husband booked the taste of Italy tour for our anniversary . Our tour guide was Vivian and she went above and beyond to make sure we were fully satisfied and had an amazing time. She made sure we knew where all the hotspots were and made sure we were safe at all times. She was very knowledgeable about the land and each place we went to. I highly recommend using expat to travel it made our trip one to remember for a lifetime of memories with no stress and a lot of fun !

Next time I will take a longer tour! There is so much to see but not enough time! Roma was an excellent guide as she was so knowledgeable. She worked very hard at stuffing as much into our time as she could.
Shannon

Amazing tour of the northern half of Italy. Really enjoyed the smaller towns like Orvieto and Sirmoine but obviously the main cities are a must see! The included wine tasting experience was a great addition. Definitely worth bearing in mind that it was more walking than the other expat tours i've been on before which some people struggled with. Hotels were all great (only tiny fault from me is the distance of the main Rome hotel from the centre and from the nearest metro station)

Antonio is not just any tour guide, he's also my new friend. This man provided us top of the class service. He's a true gentleman, a care taker, a guide, a teacher and has a positive mind set. He loves to surprise us and all of his surprises were worth it and exciting. Antonio always goes the extra mile to please everyone and help everyone. The man can handle pressure and he remains calm. His character says a lot and he has shown how good of a man he is. We've had the most amazing vacation and experiences thanks to this man. I am now starting to plan my next one. Matteo was also fantastic! He always had a great big smile and beautiful bright eyes greeting us each time we came aboard. He's a fantastic driver. He has impressed us all many times with his amazing driving skills. I felt very safe with him at the wheel. As I said, he was Fantastic! One last time …"Matteo, open the door" lol ;)
