Highlights of Japan

Expat Explore has done it again. Highlights of Japan is a wonderful tour. Our late March trip happened at the perfect time for cherry blossom season - we were very lucky. The tour is full of activities, and I recommend all the optional activities, especially an Evening in Kyoto where a geisha entertained us with dance and games. The 13 days are packed. And our tour leader Ken and assistant Masako were so organized, informative and friendly that we were able to see and experience so much more than what other tours of the same length offer. They are awesome. You are up early and putting in many steps during the day, you have to go home to relax! Wow that was fun, one of the best that Expat offers.

Jamie our tour guide is outstanding. He has alot of knowledge about japan and was happy to share. The tour takes you all over japan to give you an insight into life. We were extremely happy with this tour.

This was our 9th Expat Explore coach tour. Got on to excellent start with Jamie Seymour. Had met him in South African tour few years back. We also met the owners Jack and Carl. Wonderful people. Jamie is a star in the company as makes you feel so much at home and looked after. The group was fun. Kanako and Narusan just as helpful. Safe driving. Japan is a must country to visit and Expect Explore make it easy. Just amazing experience.

This incredible journey through Japan with EXPAT felt like a beautiful story one that unfolded across cities,castles,mountains & quiet temples. From neon energy of Tokyo,Dotonbori lights of Osaka to peaceful charm of Takayama,standing in awe before Mt.Fuji,the elegance of Himeji castle framed by cherry blossoms and many more this trip was more than sight seeing. There's a quiet kindness in people of Japan that stays with you long after you leave. Best part was meeting amazing people from around the world from strangers to a group of shared stories & laughter😊I miss them all! Special thanks to Jamie Seymour our tour leader who was the real heartbeat of the trip.His warmth patience and attention to every little details made this journey quite memorable . I thought the Japan tour was going to be a good trip but it exceeded all my expectations. The sights were wonderful, clean and unique. Japan is a beautiful country and the places we saw we visited were incredible. Each day had its own WoW moments and they were breath taking. The places we were taken to were highlights and each different which we appreciated. Jamie the tour leader was always there and helped so much. Japan can be hard to navigate but it was made simple and fun. The day were constant but not rushes or exhausting and flowed to enhance the trip. The bus driver and Jamies assistant on the tour were also so helpful and kind. I have been on 7 Expat tours and this ranks as one of if not the best trips I have taken and I highly recommend it.

Our guide Jamie was fantastic. His knowledge and enthusiasm for Japan and its culture outstanding. I can't rate this trip highly enough. The Highlights of Japan trip was one of the best holidays I have had. I Will definitely be travelling with Expat Tours again.

My 14 day tour of Japan was a dream come true, but the highlight of the trip was tour manager Jamie Seymour, assistant Kinako, and driver Nur-a- San. And all the new friends I made. Jamie and team, best ever tour leaders of all my tours booked worldwide. Very informative, no dull moment. Ensure group were happy all the time, helpful, caring until the last day. Hotels throughout the tour small but acceptable except for the breakfast at the Tokyo Hotel.

It was our first time traveling outside our home country, and ExpatExplore exceeded our expectations! During our time in Japan, our guides (shout out to Jamie and Yoshi) & driver (Otta) surpassed our expectations and we truly fell in love with the country!
