This morning, join the optional excursion to Abu Simbel, two massive temples in southern Egypt. The airport assistance went smoothly, transportation is always ready and available with good drivers. All the sights in the itinerary were visited (although when I booked the trip, gem was included, but not in the final schedule sent out). The guide , raemon, went out of his way to make sure we were all taken cared of. It helps that he explained the important aspects of the sight/ temple in the car instead of standing under the sun, but made sure to point out what was explained once we got there. With him, you only have to ask, whether about history, a place to eat or shop. Thank you, habibi. The places we stayed in were pretty good.

Such a glorious tour with the best guide in Egypt, Ramez. His knowledge and passion for all history really made this tour special. Everyday was literally a jaw dropping experience. This tour is not a relaxing tour - it is jam packed action from start to finish and they squeeze in every bit of Egyptian sights in the 9 days. The Egypt Nile Jewel has been an exhilirating tour through a country filled with anomalies. The tour is jam-packed with a variety of activities that reveal many aspects of Egyptian life. Very early mornings and sometimes quite late arrivals do not detract from the overall enjoyment of the tour. They purely afford one the opportunity to see more. One however does always have the option to, at times, take things at a more leisurely pace and opt out of some of the optional excursions and rather spend the day on the lovely NIle Cruise boat. This tour of Egypt offers the most amazing insight into the past, the reality of life in a desert, the importance of the Nile and much more. I learnt more in 9 days in Egypt than I could ever imagine. Our tour guide Somar was outstanding. The tour covered all the important sites of Egypt whilst giving us a flavor of the local cuisine and way of life. We had a lovely guide who was knowledgeable and helpful keeping the group together all the time. Be prepared to have some early starts - this is quite a good way to beat the sun and crowd at the tourist sites. Accommodation and transport was good value for money - overall we would do it again and recommend to a friend anytime.

Full days, zero filler. Most mornings start with breakfast before heading out to the main sights with your Tour Leader or a local guide. Afternoons often include free time to wander, find a coffee or join an Optional Experience. Expect a good amount of walking too. On some days, you could spend two to three hours on your feet. Comfortable shoes are your best friend.
People from all over the world. Different ages, different backgrounds, same instinct to see more. Classic groups have on average between 35-45 Chasers. By day three, you’ll already know everyone's name.
