Great Britain

We had one of the best 7 day tour experience. The itinerary is packed and theres losts to see (culturally and historically). Our tour guide Peter is kind, knowledgeable, and funny, lots of games and trivias on the bus so its never a boring ride, also our driver is very helpful and kind. The countries, towns, cities weve visited were all charming, medieval, and magical like stepping into the world of harry potter (if you're a fan like us) and outlander (if you'r into history) . If you want to see real life HP locations, booked this tour. The places we see, the food, the hotels were all amazing, 5 stars for this tour.

This tour was everything I could ask for! I wanted to spend my 40th birthday in the UK, it's my favorite place to visit so I invited 3 other friends. We all loved the tour! Our guide Peter W was so helpful, patient, & sincere! He was re-titled our Tour Master & Rob, the driver was re-titled Coach Master & has superb driving skills. Rob was very sweet, humble, & genuine! Hotels were good but some didn't have air conditioning, while we were on the tour it was warm, dare I say warmer than usual but it was nice the Sun was out & it was cool in the evenings. If its warm some hotels provided fans. The itinerary was perfect for me too, we went to places I never knew about & wouldn't think to visit. The countries have so much history, lovely scenery, cute homes, & I loved the drives in the countryside. If you didn't get cash Barclay's & HSBC don't charge an international transaction fee, helpful tip from our Tour Master Peter! I will absolutely do another tour with Expat if I can have the same crew. The food in York was tasty but if you're hungry get the half chicken. In the Highlands I would go with the pasta or beef dish. You have the opportunity to book additional tours payable via cash or card which was convenient because you can ask questions if you're unsure. If you don't want to do the tours you have free time to explore but timeliness is of upmost importance, remember to be considerate of others. In Bath get the Bath Bun. I will remember that bread the rest of my life! Thank you Expat for the fabulous experience & memories!

This was the absolute best vacation we have ever been on. Expat makes it easy and you don't have to worry about the day to day issues. We had plenty of time at each of the stops and it was super easy to go see other areas not on the tour by opting out of a few optionals and going off on our own with helpful instructions from our tour leader. We definitely plan on going on another tour and just hope it's even remotely possible to get the same tour leader because he was AMAZING.

Thanks to Lee for his extensive knowledge on the United Kingdom. We learned new things that only a local person would know, and we laughed at the stories as you broadened our perspective.. You have such a great heart. All the great memories will be a blessing. Thank you to all the travellers who also enlightened our experiences. Our driver, Chris, is top-notch and always had our safety in mind. Such a great guy.

Very personable and knowledgeable tour guide, food and accommodations were excellent, this trip was absolutely magical for me. It was my 40th birthday and I was engaged on this tour- our tour guide Lee and driver Chris helped to orchestrate the special surprise engagement with my fiance! Such a wonderful crew!!

This was my first time in an Expat tour and also first time by myself so it was a really wonderful and positive experience to have Lee as our leader and Craig as your safekeeper. Lee was aware of everyone and made sure that all of us felt safe and comfortable in the bus, at the hotel or during the experiences. I'll gladly take another Expat tour.

This was an incredible week, Peter our guide was much more than that, he was part of our fabulous experience from beginning to end, he kept us organised, educated, involved and motivated. An unbelievablely knowledgeable and passionate person. Craig was our super driver and baggage handler and also a fabulous source of knowledge. Kind, friendly and and went out of his way for us all with extra stops in beautiful places for extra photos. Always went the extra mile for our group. It was an incredibly expansive tour, we saw beautiful places, did amazing activities. Learnt so much about England, Scotland and Wales. This tour was very inclusive and there was a fabulous diversity and acceptance throughout the group. The friendliness and enthusiasm was amazing.

The whole tour was amazing. Peter was OUTSTANDING, he was the reason this tour was a total success. Peter provide us with so much information about the places we visited, I am so happy he is so knowledgeable and likes to share his knowledge with such enthusiasm. Craig the driver, total gentleman who was so helpful getting us from place to place, and he always made us feel safe. We will do it all over again if we get the same team. Thank you Peter and Craig for making our tour UNBELIEVABLE AMAZING!!!

it was my first time to join expat explore tour and i enjoyed my experience with my friends and newly acquainted friends. I am used to arrange our itineraries everytime we travel, but i never regret in having my friends in exploring great britain for 7 days with expat explore, especially special thanks to peter keron as our tour leader who take good care for our schedules everyday. He is so accomodating and has a lot of patience with our group. Thank you peter and job well done. Hope to have another tour with you.

This tour served as a great introduction to Great Britain. We saw a lot of landmarks and beautiful scenery. Loved having a day to explore in Edinburgh and the few walking tours we had in various cities. My friend and I were able to pinpoint a few places we'd go back to when we go back to the UK. We enjoyed trying different foods, shopping and interacting with the locals which were mostly super kind. If you keep the mindset that this is mostly just an intro to the country, it's a great trip. I wish I could've seen more of London (within the tour period) but we did see A LOT. My tour guide (Justin) and driver (Craig) were great as well, you could tell that they enjoy what they do.
